Derek Daly - Founder/CEO
Derek is known around the world as a talented and passionate driver, writer, broadcaster, racing advisor, and businessman. He competed as a professional race car driver for 17 years before becoming a television commentator, driving school entrepreneur, and public speaker. Since forming MotorVation in 2002, he has used the platform of motor sports to emotionally engage business people with the objective of building high performance teams who will be equipped to handle the increased speed of doing business during the next decade.
Derek has worked as an announcer for NBC Sports, CBS Sports, Fox, ESPN and Speed Channel. In 1992 USA Today called him “the best new face on sports television”. He also received the Joules Goux Award from Moet & Chandon champagne for his outstanding contributions to motor sports television. He was nominated in the same year for an Ace Award by ESPN. In December 2000, Derek received the prestigious Hall of Fame Award from “Motor Sport Ireland” for his leadership of Irish motor sport.
In 1996, Derek opened the most advanced driver training / racing school in the USA – Derek Daly Performance Driving Academy, which was voted “the best driving school in America” by MOTOR TREND and AUTOMOBILE magazines.

Lisa has nearly 20 years of corporate and consultative experience in designing and developing training curriculum and workshops as well as facilitating both technical and non-technical skills sessions. She holds a degree in Public and Corporate Communications as well as certifications and studies in adult learning, behavioral styles, instructional design, project management, and competency development. Lisa’s education and personal development experiences translate into training strategies that incorporate audience-focused, goal-oriented methods.
Lisa combines her expertise and passion for meaningful training to produce rich, productive sessions focused on adult learning “done right”. “Get adults involved, thinking, applying and talking!” is Lisa’s mantra! Lisa is a member of the national and local chapters of the American Society of Training and Development (ASTD), a learning advocate (evident by her continuous pursuit of industry knowledge and education) as well as a featured speaker at local conferences and roundtables.
